Das Informations- und Bildungszentrum Schloss Gimborn (IBZ) ist eine internationale Fortbildungs- und Begegnungsstätte, insbesondere für Polizeibedienstete aller Laufbahngruppen und Funktionsbereiche, die weit über die Grenzen Deutschlands bekannt ist.
Das IBZ wurde 1969 durch die International Police Association gegründet und wird heute von einem Verein mit über 560 Mitgliedern aus Europa und Übersee getragen.
Das Seminarangebot des IBZ greift vorwiegend aktuelle gesellschaftspolitische Themen mit Polizeibezug auf, beschäftigt sich aber auch mit Kommunikation, Gesundheitsmanagement und beruflicher Weiterbildung. Neben vielen deutschsprachigen Seminaren werden auch regelmäßig internationale, mehrsprachige Seminare durchgeführt.

The Conference Centre of Gimborn Castle, or IBZ (“Informations- & Bildungszentrum Schloss Gimborn”) is an international institution of education and encounters, particularly for police officers of all ranks and backgrounds, that is well known far beyond the national borders of Germany.
The IBZ was founded in 1969 by the International Police Association (IPA): today, it is sponsored by an Association with over 560 members from all over Europe and abroad.
The seminar programme of the IBZ focuses primarily on current social and political affairs of police interest; in addition, it also covers communication, health management, and professional training. Aside from numerous seminars in German, the Centre regularly offers international, multilingual seminars.
